Doctor by the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) with the thesis Formación y estabilidad de fases secundarias de UO2 en las condiciones de un almacenamiento geológico profundo 2009. Supervised by Dr. Francisco Javier Giménez Izquierdo, Dr. Ignaci Casas Pons.

My research career began in the field of environmental engineering, with a doctoral thesis on the geological storage of nuclear waste (Cum Laude and mention of quality), which contributed knowledge on the long-term safety of radioactive materials. This initial work is in line with the Sustainable Development Goals, linking science with responsible resource management and the protection of the environment and public health. On this solid scientific foundation, I focused my career on teaching experimental sciences, maintaining sustainability and knowledge transfer to society as a common thread. I have published in JCR and Scopus indexed journals, participated in international and national conferences, and have six years of recognized research experience. My work has led to educational innovation projects, some of which have won awards, such as Investiga! ¡Salva el planeta! (Investigate! Save the planet!) and Ósmosis (Osmosis), which bring active methodologies, environmental awareness, and digital skills to the classroom. I have also received the award from the Royal Spanish Physics Society (RSEF) and the BBVA Foundation for the best contribution to teaching in RSEF publications for Resolución de ecuaciones de segundo y tercer grado con el principio de Arquímedes (Solving second and third degree equations using Archimedes' principle). These initiatives, together with scientific outreach activities, have had a direct impact on the training of future teachers and on society, multiplying the reach of research beyond the academic sphere. In general, my career combines an initial stage of scientific research applied to the environment with a second stage focused on teaching innovation and science education.
