Abstract

Tis article shows the results of the archaeological excavation of a small settlement from the Middle Bronze Age,Gorgociles del Espacabezado II. Inside the settlement and corresponding to the frst phase of occupation of thetown, 8 rooms have been documented through the construction of several walls with a radial trend. Once excavated in its entirety, it has allowed us to obtain important conclusions, both of an urban type and of the dynamicsof the town and the areas of activity that shaped its daily life. Te characteristics of this settlement allow not onlyto rule out its afliation to the Argaric area, but also to begin to refect on and question the existence of both theValencian Bronze and the La Mancha Bronze.
