Actividades de offshoring de I+D y resultado innovador¿Se benefician más las empresas de servicios intensivas en conocimiento?

Resumen

La relación entre las actividades de offshoring y el resultado innovador en las empresas de servicios intensivas en conocimiento (KIBs) en comparación con el resto de empresas que no son KIBs sigue siendo un área de estudio poco analizada. Se ofrecen dos resultados importantes. En primer lugar, la actividad de offshoring es una importante fuente de innovación para todas las empresas. En segundo lugar, la relación offshoring-innovación difiere significativamente entre los dos grupos de empresas, siendo más positiva para las empresas no KIB. La actividad de offshoring es una fuente importante de innovación para las empresas, pero especialmente para las empresas que no pertenecen a KIB. Por lo tanto, nuestro trabajo contribuye al tema de offshoring-resultado innovador con nuevos conocimientos y resultados para las KIBs. Identifica qué empresas, KIBs o no KIBs, son las mejores para transformar las actividades de offshoring en resultados innovadores. Además, ayuda a descubrir la simultaneidad y las relaciones causales entre la innovación de productos y procesos, cuestiones que no se han considerado previamente en la literatura sobre las actividades de offshoring en las KIBs.
