Resumen

From an eminently theoretical perspective, it could be checked that the geographic scope of the perception of the urban space has been tackled in general from the individual plot, setting up the concept of subjective space around personal perceptions and sensations, relating to the internal area of each individual. However, in this article arises an analysis of collective subjectivity, built by part of social movements and their territoriality in the cities. The main objective of this work is to study the subjective space of the city of Alicante through the action leaded by social movements, observing how these make city by occupation and appropriation of the public space, predominantly urban. That occupation of the urban space, the territoriality of the social movements, is which forms the collective subjectivity of them from the realization of their demands. Nevertheless, it is in the city where there are developed a number of contradictions between that perception and other ways to produce the space.
