Abstract

There are many Project Based Learning initiatives and almost all the authors agree on the advantages of this methodology. However, the difficulty of underta- king such a paradigm shift is also almost unanimous. After more than ten years using Project Based Lear- ning and having presented our course model in pre- vious conferences, we now present MIA, a methodo- logy for implementing a Project Based Learning cour- se that we have built up from our experience, with two main characteristics: that it be practical and that it be ordered. The proposed methodology is iterative, ba- sed on the spiral of continuous improvement. The main contribution is a tool that we call Action Plan that, in the form of a flow chart, guides the process of crea- ting the project and its implementation, resulting in an almost automatic planning of the project-based course.
