Abstract

Hernandiana criticism has emphasized the importance of image and metaphor in the octaves of Perito en lunas. While this aspect is evident in the final version, to study the process of creation —here we ́ll do the eighth “(Palmero)”— it allows us to see how Miguel Hernandez built and developed these images and metaphors to reach the fi nal version taking designed to create a free text hesitation. The study of this internal process of writing allows us to establish connections and differences with thematically similar poems belonging to the same stage and earlier, and also see how the writer intertextual networks formed between his own compositions
