Laburpena

We present a review on certain aspects of the Catalan version of the Legenda Aurea, especially those related to the most complete manuscripts, the relationship between them, the most important changes introduced in them, and the limitations of the studies that have been done so far. We suggest some lines of work and we try to highlight some of the most unique aspects of these manuscripts, which can help in understanding the translation, the filiation of the manuscripts and the dissemination of this Catalan version of Voragine’s text.
