Abstract

En los últimos años, ha surgido una nueva corriente de investigación en el campo de la gestión estratégica que se centra en el análisis de sus microfundamentos. Esta línea de investigación analiza temas estratégicos examinando sus fundamentos arraigados en acciones e interacciones individuales. El objetivo principal de este trabajo es examinar esta literatura emergente de microfundaciones, indicando su utilidad y principales características. Mediante una revisión sistemática de la literatura, este trabajo contribuye al campo identificando las principales áreas estudiadas, los beneficios y potencialidades de este enfoque, y algunas limitaciones y críticas. Además, el artículo estudia cómo se puede llevar a cabo la integración de aspectos micro y macro en la investigación de estrategias, examinando varios trabajos que utilizan un enfoque multinivel. Se indican algunos enfoques metodológicos que pueden ayudar a efectuar esta integración. Estos aspectos se analizarán en relación con la teoría basada en recursos.
