Resum
This study investigates the effects of a teaching intervention on prospective secondary mathematics teachers� noticing of high students� understanding of derivative concept. Results revealed that the development of noticing of student�s understanding was linked to mathematics elements of derivative identified as relevant and considered by prospective teachers when interpreting the students� problem solving.
