PhD in Physical Geography and Land Management, in 2021 from the University of Alicante, with the thesis entitled "Green infrastructure as a tool for spatial planning: multiscale analysis" (rating of "excellent cum laude") . Graduated in Geography in 1991 and Master in Territorial Planning from the University of Alicante. Partner and technical director of Cota Ambiental, S.L.P. since 1994, a consultant in land and environment planning, with which she develops technical assistance tasks to municipalities of the Valencian Community, participating in numerous instruments of land planning and urban planning, both municipal and supramunicipal in various autonomous communities of Spain. In addition, he is a judicial geographer in the areas of land management, urban planning, environment, landscape, cartography and cadastre. Since 2010 he is an associate professor in the area of Physical Geography of the Department of Regional Geographic Analysis and Physical Geography. Since 2015 he is part of the research group of the University of Alicante: MEDSPAI. Since 2021 he is researcher at the Interuniversity Institute of Geography. His main line of research focuses on green infrastructure, landscape and natural hazards. Thus, he has directed numerous end-of-degree and master-degree projects in these subjects. Since 2010 he is a coordinating professor of external practices of the degree in Geography and Territorial Planning, as well as tutor professor of the Erasmus Plus program. Since 2015 he is a coordinating professor of practices in public organizations and companies of the Master in Planning and Management of Natural Risks. Between 2007 and 2018 he was president of the College of Geographers of Spain.
