Resumo
During the excavations of the University district /Peri CA_4 in Cartagena, the remains of an Augustan domuswith a remarkable decorative program came to light. Te state of preservation led to its conservation in thebasement of the building built over them. While waiting for the site to be put in value, in the year 2023 severalactions were undertaken to stop the deterioration of the structures, which were tremendously afected by variousenvironmental factors. Te main objective has been the conservation through the extraction in sections of amosaic pavement, as well as various cleaning and consolidation processes of other structures and decorativecoatings at risk.
