Zusammenfassung

Currently, there are few studies on the production of phraseological units (PhU) in minors, as research is focused on comprehension. Regarding humor, it is characterized by being social, intentional, and displaying a certain degree of figurativeness (incongruence). Thereby, in this research we analyse the creation of humorous situations (styles of humor, Martin, Puhlik-Doris, Larsen, Gray & Wir 2003) in which some phraseologism appears. In stories written by children aged 9-11, idioms and syntagmatic compounds play several roles that contribute to the absurd situation. Some notable results are the use of PhU as indicators and markers of humour (Timofeeva-Timofeev & Ruiz-Gurillo 2021), phraseological manipulation and the presence of phraseologisms in three of the four styles of humor.
