Resumo
This article argues the indispensable nature of the application of natural language generation in intelligent computer-aided instruction (ICAI). To start with, the author introduces briefly several generation systems, developed for ICAI. Next he presents his generator GECO which explains geometrical concepts in natural language. Finally future plans in the field are outlined.
