Abstract

Conceived as general principles of European Union Law, the principles of primacy and effectiveness are basically created by jurisprudence. Taking as a starting point the CJEU doctrine concerning its meaning and development, our paper aims to examine some concrete manifestations of these two essential principles of European Law, closely connected with the right to an effective remedy (enshrined in articles 24 Spanish Constitution, 47 Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union and 6 European Convention of Human Rights).
