Abstract

In this editorial the author reflects on the theory/practice dichotomy and how the integration of transdisciplinary theories can help to bring positions closer together. To do so, he discusses the theory of practice developed by Bourdieu and intersectionality, providing an example of how their interconnection can improve both the theory and practice of nursing and thus contribute to its structuring and epistemology.
