Current practices in bathymetry survey in lakes (available method) are indeed having some limitations. New technologies such as using unmanned boat start to be common. As the available platforms do not fit all the requirements to study the dense vegetated margin lakes on Alicante, it has been developed a USV (Uncrewed Surface Vessel) and have been tested in the Señoret lake, one of the Alicante city Rabasa lakes. Ancient abandoned shales quarries used for the roof tile and brick industry filled with San Vicente del Raspeig aquifer waters. The platform is based in Arduino, has an Echosonar, GPS, Bluetooth connection and is remote controlled. The obtained bathymetry has a 1,6 m horizontal resolution and varies from 0,7 until 17 m depth.
