Resum

This article presents a Spanish linguistic and cultural validation of two questionnaires on reproductive health, which are designed to assess emotional response after perinatal loss: the Perinatal Grief Intensity Scale (pgis) and the Stillbirth Stigma Scale (sss). A standardised process of anonymous translation and back-translation was carried out and the conceptual appropriateness of the scale to the Spanish context was examined through a total of five cognitive interviews with mothers who had suffered a perinatal loss. In the cognitive interviews, no difficulty understanding the items or the response scales used was observed. In conclusion, the Spanish versions of both scales are well adapted to the Spanish context.
