Abstract
The project “Public and anonymous” seeks to bring to light, through an artistic-pedagogical process,a vision of the city based on feminist geography. To this end, a study of the anthropomorphic publicsculpture of the city of Valencia is carried out, where different aspects are analyzed: gender of the figurerepresented, gender of the executing artist, year of execution, and other characteristics of the figures. This analysis allows us to generate a map obtaining a possible vision of the city, accessible and contextualized that allows reflection by the participants. The study offers an approach to the visual culturebased on the closest context offered by the historical heritage of the city. It is a participatory educationalproposal in which social networks are used to generate a dynamic archive of images and reflectionson the subject. The results show us that a participatory approach to the revision of heritage promotes acritical reflection on the visual story of public space
