Abstract
The aim of this article is to study a selection of textual variants and variations in some minor poems by the Marquis of Santillana and Juan de Mena, collected in the songbook SA10b. The purpose is to find out to what extent this focus of analysis on variant and variation can shed light on the status of texts in SA10b, to compare these readings with the possible authorial variants in the case of Santillana's works and, ultimately, to advance in the reconstruction of the process of formation and copying of the cancionero.
