Contar la geología a través de este y otros mundos. ¿Cómo empezar a difundir la ciencia desde 0?

Zusammenfassung

Despite the low social perception that commonly exists about Geology (and all its related studies), it is possible, as well as necessary and motivating, to communicate and promote this science in different media that can reach the different sectors that make up our society. Likewise, such transfer of knowledge can be done at different scales and levels of detail. Thanks to the fact that Geology is a highly visual and diverse science that encompasses the study of the Earth and other worlds, its dis- semination can be adapted to a multitude of channels and supports for the science outreach: from social networks and digital supports to television, radio, books and press articles, lectures and talks, experiments, outreach contests, field trips, etc. Star- ting from this reality, and based on my own personal experience in scientific communication after several years of dedication and learning, I present examples following three basic premises for the development of outreach activities: training, testing and improving. The examples and methods of outreach presented may serve as a model for developing future activities on their own, to start in the world of scientific outreach, or also as a guide to adapt to the varied program of outreach initiatives that currently exist in our country.
