Abstract
Interest in the issue following the discussion begins after the exposure of young, internationally recognizedpolish architect Robert Konieczny at the Polish National Congress of Architects in July 2008 in the polishcity of Poznan.The architects who were present said, their customers were demanding houses usually had little to dowith the avant-garde houses of Konieczny, publishedin prestigious magazines worldwide, acclaimed andprizes in various competitions and contests.Architecture professionals complained about lack ofrespect for the profession, distrust of the architect, aswell as excessive amounts of standard houses on themarket, most of them inspired by traditional houses ,no popular, type “Dwór “ residential type setting of thePolish nobility undermined by elements that did´t exist in the original dwellings such as garages, balconiesand others.This specific topic of current Poland but neverthelesshas much to do with general or universal issues suchas the concept of housing for a particular user or identification with the image of the house is the object ofstudy of Eva Iszoro, whose PhD focuses on the discovery of the causes of this phenomenology.
