Abstract
The Valencian Centre for the Information Society is shaped as a unit of excellence that gathers and manages knowledge and experiences related to the information society in the environment of the Community of Valencia. This unit follows the principles of knowledge management linked to an indicator system, related to society and enterprise spheres, and aimed to know how new technologies affect the every day life of citizens and enterprises. This is materialized on regular surveys, the infobarometers, and also on sectorial reports published by Cevalsi.
