Zusammenfassung

This paper focuses on funerary materiality as an object of study for analysing the changes that took place at the heart of Menorcan Postalayotic society. Based on the data from recent archaeological interventions and the detailed study of funerary architecture, an interaction with Punic cultural groups is proposed. The traces they left are visible in the appearance of new architectural elements and the adoption of construction techniques, symbols and ideas that were absent in the Talayotic tradition.
