Resum

The durability of reinforced concrete structures can be reduced mainly due to corrosion of the reinforcements, and one of the main consequences is a reduction in the ultimate strength of the same. In order to assess the safety of existing structures, it is necessary to develop models that allow estimating the strength of both reinforcements and prestressing tendons. This paper shows the results obtained for both types of elements, obtaining a correlation between the strength and the degree of corrosion. In this way, a failure diagram can be obtained for the case of defects due to corrosion.
