Abstract

This study proposes a map of the democratic memory based on the works of women playwrights who are from diverse Catalan-speaking territories, whose texts are written in this language. These women dramatists are, for instance, Helena Tornero, Neus Nadal, Aina de Cos, Carme Planells, Aina Salom and Pepa Juan, among others. In addition, the article analyzes the characteristics of the works of these authors, taking into account the role that memory plays in the reconstruction of the past.
