Résumé

Geological-geotechnical models allow the engineers to understand better the site conditions, to identify the principal geotechnical problems and to estimate more realistically the soil properties. In this work we present the used methodology for the design of a geological-geotechnical three-dimensional model of the Segura River flood plain composed of four zones characterized by their geotechnical properties and the associated problems. The model is very useful for the preliminary site investigation planning of civil works.
