Abstract

This article shows the state of art of the search and validation of physical elements that allow the evaluation and the stress detection and its monitoring in the population above 60 years, using a passive biopatch adhered to the skin and monitoring the Galvanic Skin Response. The starting hypothesis of this study is that the difficulty in carrying out movements generates stress in the adult person, having already been studied in a laboratory environment. The secondary objective is the development of an outpatient basis alarm system, which allows a person to receive a warning signal when the patient’s stress exceeds a certain threshold.
