The industry of the desalination in Spain has initiated an important process of internationalization. The serious shortage of hydric resources that suffer some parts of the Spanish territory has derived in a strong bet of the government by the desalination like solution to this shortage. The industry of the desalination has obtained a great experience in our country as consequence of the hydric resources shortage and the government investment. Given that the Spanish companies have a greater competitiveness than the foreigners, companies of water treatment as Sadyt or Acciona have initiated a firm internationalization directed to countries in which there is sea and hydric shortage
