Resum
Researching History is a complex task but teaching History effectively it is even difficult, and thisis aggravated when teachers are bound remain limited to a specific educational curriculum. In an educationalsystem in which learning is based on competences, it is necessary to work from a transversal learning whichleads us to think about the inclusion of an immersive and sensorial method for the teaching-learning processand to make students can “touch” history. From our association, Mos Religiosvs, we have developed a gamifiededucational project whose inclusive, immersive, and experiential projection benefit and motivates learning.This activity aims to instruct children, aged between 7-12 years old, aspects that are little or not dealt with atschool that are related to the everyday history of ancient Rome, through a format like the educational escaperoom. We implemented that experience, for the first time, in the National Archaeological Museum of Madrid(MAN) on a sample of 34 participants (11 girls and 23 boys). A fact that, in turn, allows us to enhance the valueof the national heritage and of which we present here the first results. This project proves the importance ofcoordination between cultural institutions and teachers for the creation of teaching-learning processes that arecomplete for the educational world.
