Abstract
Compensation is a mode of extinction of the obligations presented by specialties when a bankrupt is involved. Art. 153 TRLC is dedicated to this, and on the occasion of Supreme Court Judgment 9/2022, of January 10, an essentially practical analysis of its regime is intended when its invocation in front of a bankrupt takes place outside the contest, with exhibition of the judicial response, and if it exhausts all the problems that such a phenomenon raises.
