Abstract

In the last decades an enormous change has taken place in science and health. It takes us to a necessary reformulation of the Bioethics. It is accepted that the Bioethic should be considered in the health professionals formative programs. It would be convenient that it will be taught in early stages at university and also in postgraduate courses. The following article tries to show you how is the Bioethics aspects formation between health professionals in a regional hospital. Methodology: It was achieved a descriptive transverse study through a validated questionnaire. It was realized on the first quarter of 2010 in Elda's Hospital (Alicante). The professional people to be studied were health professionals (nurses, doctors, nursing auxiliaries). For the analysis of the data the statistical SPSS 14 was used. Results: There were a total 0f 220 people studied. We got filled in 144 questionnaires, which means we received an answer of 64%, 79 were nurses, 18 were doctors and 47 were nursing auxiliaries. The 70,34 % of these people did not have any bioethic formation, however the best qualified people in bioethics had been working for 15-20 years. There is a 69,6% of people who know about the existence of The Pacient's Right Letter meanwhile only the 17,24 % know about the existence of the Committee of Bioethics inside their department. Conclusion: The health professionals apparently have a lack of Bioethic formation. It becomes necessary to promote a nimble process of information and formative departments inside the sanitary institutions so that people will be ready for the ethical and legal requirements in each moment.
