Abstract
Over the last century, the Classical-Romantic musical tradition has merged with the hybrid and experimental sounds of contemporaneity. All this background establishes the agenda of auditoriums and symphonic orchestras. In our study we shall use the symphonic subscription programs for the orchestras and auditoriums of the 2014-2015 season. The data was provided, in all cases, by the cultural institutions themselves. In our empirical analysis, we shall describe the subscription typology and the different modalities. Then, we shall focus on the scheduled pieces and statistically analyse the pieces, composers, genres and composition dates. Elements which we shall then link with the scheduling institutions, the regions, and the conductor or group who, in each case, perform these programs.
