Abstract
The collocation research on teaching the subject of Spanish as a first language has been practically ignored, in contrast with the attention paid to the Spanish as a second language. This paper presents a first approach to the collocations teaching directed to the native speakers starting on a experience with students in the first year of Compulsory Secondary Education. After reviewing the concept of collocation, we present the type of collocations with higher didactic performance and the reasons for its choice, as well as the more suitable teaching and learning metodology, where the inference role is mainly in developing lexical skills.
