Sustainable development goals

Abstract

Given the problems that the teaching of Valencian language faces in Spanish-speaking towns, this paper explains the application of the integrated treatment of language and literature in the Spanish-speaking town of Elda (Alt Vinalopó, Alicante). The teachers-authors conclude that learning a language means learning to communicate in that language. Thus, in the article the authors enumerate a series of measures that have developed in their school to get an education based on the communicative approach; in order to «understand and be understood fluently.»
