Abstract

In this study we try to understand the knowledge of two characteristics associated with vehicle users who demonstrate aggressive driving style: The impulsivity and sensation seeking. To support the inference, we will use the data obtained from a sample of drivers convicted of minor offenses against vial safety, bound by a judgment to realize a course of sensitization and awareness vial, formally called TASEVAL -Workshops of Vial- Security. The indicators and tables obtained through psychological questionnaires covering the main body of our study. From these assessment tools, will draw the final conclusions that can be presented as a result. Also we will raise as an introductory way, some considerations about the current problems of the so-called Vial Criminology and the legal and configuration genesis of these workshops Road Safety intended to fulfill a dual function: On the first hand, constituted as a conviction and therefore a retributive penological purpose, and secondly, to be valued as a psycho-educational tool for offenders, in order to try to prevent the repetition of unlawful conduct and criminal recidivism.
