Resumen

With this first publication, the Educational Research eJournal (EREJ) is finally born. This initiative is the result of the academic determination of a group of professors and investigators of the Faculty of Education of the University of Alicante closely committed to education and more precisely, to the education of the teachers. This concern emerged from a deep deliberation on the current educative issues which have an impact on education, educative investigation and its international dissemination, as well as on the challenges set to the educators and investigators.
