Zusammenfassung
The aim of this paper is to locate, in an Altea's tale, the origin of the foundation's legend of the hermitage of Santa Anna in Benissa (Marina Alta, País Valencià). We tried to show, using (and re-thinking) the theoríes of V. Propp, one of the procedures of creation and elaboration of legends. We analyze the narrative mechanisms with which a particular society has used and adapted its inherited popular culture.
