Résumé
The theatre carried out by the Franciscans in New Spain during the 16th century obeyed very concrete aims of the adaptation of the Christianity to a completely new environment and, therefore, it remained determined by the expositions and own problems of the so called " spiritual conquest ".In this respect, not only religious but also cultural and ideological implications of this dramaturgy appear as an element emphasized in the complex process of acculturation that supposed the whole evangelizing process
