Laburpena
The present paper describes the first data about the distribution, habitat and ecology ofthe tubeworm Bispira viola (Grube 1830) (Annelida Polychaeta, family Sabellidae) in the Canary islands, developed from the bionomic studies in different islands of the archipelago. This species was previously recorded in Lanzarote, although the amphtude and location of the populations were not known in the other islands. Furthermore, we report on a description of the populations and distribution maps of species in the canary archipelago, especially in Tenerife.
