Abstract
The concept of "Implicit music", coined by José Nieto, will be contextualized in this paper. We particularly study "Aragón: two rivers", episode included in This is my land documentary series ( M. Serrano, 1981-83). We wil/ check how the way of understanding the musical composition inthis documentary television production becomes a model that the composer exports to the fíction fíeld in Riders in the dawn (V. Aranda, 1991. The composer uses, in both cases, Spanish traditional music through the Magna antología del folclore musical español, by M. García Matos, as well as another meaningful inherent music in the place and time in which the story develops.
