Abstract
This article aims to announce the prospecting and research studies about neolithic rock art being conducted in the Aitana Mountains (Alicante, Spain). As a result of this work, eigth rock shelters containing schematic paintings have been found. This text is particularly focused on two of them, for which tracing tasks have been completed. According to a typologycal point of view, the new sets under analysis have been related to the rest of art sites located in this territory.
