It is true that it is necessary to be careful at the time of establishing hypothetical dependencies or affinities between two classics like Tirant lo Blanc and Quijote because there are also many differences that separate them. But, in this study, we would like to talk about one go communicating that it puts them in relation: the fact that both novels interpolate autonomous episodes or semiautonomous in the main plot. Our aim consists in, from the analysis of the secondary episodes that will identify to each work, do a typology with the purpose of find out which function and which sense have each of them.
