Abstract
The main objective of this work consisted in knowing the perceptions and vulnerabilities caused by confinement and forced isolation of Covid 19 in people with disabilities and their caregivers in the Valencian Community (Spain) and Nueva León (Mexico). A questionnaire with 26 items was designed for a convenience sample and it was disseminated in the associations and organizations for disability in both territories. The survey was available online from April 6, 2020, until May 4, 2020. The conclusions highlight the lack of health and social protocols, the need for effective and accessible information campaigns in real time and more participation of disability associations in governance and public policies in times of Covid 19.
