Résumé

The research describes the evoution of the family law under the gender equality perspective. In order to get that objective, the text makes a specific description and analysis of social and legal factors which have hampered the gender equality along the centuries. In addition, it is explained too the positive factors to get the gender equality into the family relations, by means of public policies and the current legislation.
