Zusammenfassung
One of the territories most affected in Spain by the floods is the Vega Baja del Segura region, located in the far south of the Alicante province. The Master Plan for Flood Protection and Sustainable Urban Drainage prepared by HIDRAQUA integrates the planned actions to that effect from a threefold perspective: health and wellbeing, including gender equality policies, protection and improvement of the environment and reduction of damage to property. The presentation details the Social Cost-Benefit Analysis carried out, whose social IRR is 4.3%.
