Resumen

An approach to contemporary Catalan literature by Joan Fuster from 1971. We try to analyze the author’s discourse on literature, describe the set of aspects that give an ac-count of literary works: the role played by personal factors, ideology, the zeitgeist, the search for novelty ... Also, the insertion of the Catalan literary movements in the European ones. As well as the works and writers that Fuster considers most prominent. And why. We also analyze the set of resources he uses to describe the creative contributions and peculiarities of each literary figure.
