Abstract

In this work we show results of different field experiments about the restoration of burnedsoils with the application of different organic wastes. After 8 months of wastes application to burned soils, most of the burned amended soils maintained higher levels of Corgthan un-amended burned soils. Organicapplication to burned soils has increased soil microbial biomass, a pool negatively affected by fire. The%Cmic Corg-1decreases when increases application rates of organic wastes. This percentage increases insoils treated with more degradable wastes
