Zusammenfassung
One of the most far-reaching consequences in the expulsion of the Society of Jesus from the Spanish territories, in 1767, was the seizure of the buildings they occupied, which led parallel confiscation of books and documents held in their archives and libraries. Following the rules were issued by royal order, the way they were implemented in some province of Aragon schools and focussing the analysis in inventories of books preserved in their archives and libraries, we have been able to see how Campomanes prioritized the control of these list of books in order to erase the memory of the Jesuits.
