Catalogación de la seguridad de un laboratorio químico de investigación en microcontaminantes

Risk assessment in research laboratories has a certain degree of difficulty that makes it complicated to apply assessment methods in the traditional methodologies. This is especially difficult when the assessment involves risks related to chemical agent exposure. Sampling and analysis for subsequent comparison with environmental limit values are difficult to apply due to the variety of uses and quantity of chemical products present in the laboratories. For this reason, different procedures have been proposed, based on classification systems of the ""control banding"" type. We have carried out the safety cataloguing of a chemical research laboratory in micropollutants. The Technical Prevention Note 1106 has been applied as a tool. With it, a cataloguing procedure has been applied to obtain a score of the chemical laboratories about their safety level, evaluating the safety risk factors associated with the activity carried out, and those related to the environment work.
