Resumen

El objetivo de este trabajo es ofrecer una nueva etimología del término pa-ra-ku-ja, hasta ahora interpretado en general como relacionado con la raíz semítica *brq, 'brillar'. El autor propone relacionarlo con la raíz semítica *vvrq, 'ser de color verde (o amarillo)' a partir de algunos paralelos de tejidos que aparecen en los archivos de Ebla (Siria) y Kanes (Anatolia)
